Warden features a /setup moderation command to access a panel to modify the default moderation system's various settings. Server administrators and anyone with the configured management role will be able to use this command.

Using the Command

  1. Type /setup moderation into the textbox and select Warden's command.

  2. Execute the command by sending it.

  3. Use the menu to select settings and modify them. Details regarding each setting can be found .

Available Settings

The moderation system has various settings that can help your moderators’ experience smoother. Details of each are listed below:

Moderator Role

Selecting a role from the promted menu sets it as the server's moderator role. Anyone with the role will be able to run moderation punishment and viewing (history, briefings, cases, etc.) commands.

Users with the configured Moderator role will be able to use all default moderation commands, allowing them to execute mutes, bans, and more even if they do not have native permissions in the server to execute such punishments.

Logging Channel

Selecting a channel from the prompted menu sets it as the server's punishment logging channel. Logs of all punishments executed via Warden's punishment commands will be sent to this channel. We recommend keeping this channel private and restricted to the server's moderation team and above as potentially sensitive information will be available in it.

Reason Requirement

When this setting is enabled, punishment commands will require the reason option field to be filled, forcing moderators to include reasons when executing punishments. This setting is disabled by default, but is recommended for organizational purposes.

Ban Message

When a custom ban message is set, it will be included in the direct message to users when they are banned. This message can contain instructions/links to appeal servers/sites, etc.

The punishment logging channel is separate from logging channels affiliated with the and other systems.
