Warden is committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your and your server members' data. This policy outlines what information we collect, how it is used, and your rights regarding your data. By using Warden and accepting our , you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

Warden functions mostly without much collection and external storage of any data, but instead logs such data for server moderators to see in a logging channel. The information we do store, though, is listed below:

  • User Data: Warden collects user IDs and associates punishment cases and details with them.

  • Server Data: Server IDs and channel IDs are collected for certain modules to function properly, and to set logging and other system channels.

How We Use Your Information

Warden uses all sensitive user information with care, and it cannot be found anywhere outside of your server. Below are listed the various ways Warden uses the data it stores to function properly:

  • Logs: Warden stores logs of all punishments issued and associates them with the target's user ID only.

  • System Functions: Warden uses channel and server IDs for certain modules to function, such as a channel ID corresponding to the configured logging channels or modmail channel, for example.

Data Sharing

Warden is completely free to use, and does not share or sell any user data to any third parties, including for advertising purposes. Data may be shared if required by law.

Your Rights

We believe that servers and server members alike should have the right to control the data we collect. Below are detailed some rights you have regarding your data as a server manager or server member.

  • Members can opt-out of data collection simply by leaving the server that has Warden running in it. All existing data will be erased from Warden's database, but some information may be accessible to server staff in logging channels.

  • Servers can opt-out of data collection simply by removing Warden. When Warden is removed from a server, all attached data is immediately deleted and cannot be regained again.
