Below can be found details of changes made in announced updates to Warden

Moderation System Feature Additions - Mar 29, 2025

• Server configuration requirement removed for operation of default moderation system. Users with appropriate permissions can now use /mod commands upon the bot being added to a server (without running /setup server first).

• Small permission requirements modified. MANAGE_GUILD permission no longer exclusively allows access to moderation action/viewing commands.

• Required application intents for Warden have been approved by Discord. Warden no longer has a limit on how many servers it can join.

• Moderation system configurations command added (/setup moderation). Includes new settings including reason requirement and message upon ban. More details here.

• Warden’s Privacy Policy updated. Users are encouraged to review them to ensure security and privacy for themselves and their servers.

Moderation System Rework - Mar 16, 2025

• Entire default moderation system (/mod commands) reworked and major bugs fixed.

• The /mod kick command has been temporarily deprecated but is being reworked.

• Added working case organization system with case viewing and deleting functionalities. More information can be found here.

• Reworked Warden server configuration system: removed /setup roles and /setup channels with all functionality replaced in a reworked /setup server command.

• Logging and notification channels are now required during configuration.

• Fixed /mod history bug.

• Added moderator notes system with /mod notes command. More information can be found here.
