The /mod kick
command is used for kicking users out the server, which can be useful when a user is stirring trouble and doesn't seem like a good fit for your server. This action is not permanent and allows users to join back if they receive another valid invite. This command sends a direct message to the target, officially informing them of the kick; logs a message in your server's logging channel, if set up; and records the kick in the target's punishment history, to be viewed at any time.
When someone is, in any way (including this kick) leaves or is removed from your server, all of their history will be erased and cannot be viewed again (i.e. /mod history
command). However, you can still see any log messages concerning the user that were sent in the past.
Type /mod kick
into the textbox and choose Warden's command.
Fill in the necessary details (target member, kick reason).
Run the command by sending it. A log message will be sent to your main logging channel (if set up) and a direct message will be sent to the target user.
The reason
option in this command is optional, and the command will still work if sent without one. The user will be kicked, sent a direct message notification, but won't see any reason.
